Description

 

The Department of Neurology at SUNY Stony Brook has full-time pediatric neurology faculty position available on both the clinical and tenure tracks (Assistant or Associate Professor of Neurology). Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching, and the opportunity to be involved in clinical research activities. Clinical and research opportunities are available in autism, epilepsy, infectious disease, stroke, and MS.

 

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications: MD degree (or foreign equivalent). Eligibility for NYS license. Completion of an accredited Pediatric Neurology residency. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology with special competency in Child Neurology (SCCN).

 

Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship training in Child Neurology and an interest in neuromuscular disorders, neonatal neurology, movement disorders, childhood stroke, neurogenetics/metabolics, sleep disorders are highly desirable.
