Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a full-semester contract to support K-8 students in a school located in Trenton, NJ. This opportunity involves working with a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students across PreK to 8th grade, with potential involvement in Extended School Year (ESY) services. The position offers a structured 32.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students based on IEP goals.
Manage a caseload that transitions from a PreK school (now through 3/15) to a middle school setting (3/15 to end of school year).
Utilize the districts IEP system with provided training to ensure compliance and accurate documentation.
Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster students communication development.
Participate in paid team meetings and allocate time for indirect service hours as required.
Potentially provide supervision to clinicians, depending on credential status.
Desired Qualifications:
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with pediatric and school-based experience.
Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
Experience delivering therapy in school or pediatric settings.
Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Current credentials aligned with state requirements including fingerprint clearance.
