Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available within multiple schools across the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, primarily serving the central and north-central Durham regions. This contract position offers a caseload of approximately 30-40 students spanning various ages, with caseload needs adaptable based on district requirements. Responsibilities include: * Providing physical therapy services within elementary, middle, and high schools following the respective bell schedules (Elementary: 7:45 AM2:15 PM, Middle: 8:30 AM3:15 PM, High: 9:15 AM4:15 PM). * Managing a caseload of students requiring individualized therapeutic interventions. * Collaborating with educators and school staff to support student progress. * Making visits across 5 to 9 schools, with visit frequency ranging from once to a few times per month as needed. Qualifications: * Active Physical Therapist license is mandatory. * Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in a school setting is required. * Strong ability to adapt to changing district needs and student caseloads. * Ability to work onsite as this role involves regular visits to schools. Schedule and Location: * Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours daily). * Primarily based in Chapel Hill, NC, serving schools within central and north-central Durham. * Contract duration is immediate start through June 3, 2026. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple school assignments and meet district expectations. Qualified candidates will be invited for a prescreen interview, with flexible scheduling options between 9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST.
