What You'll Do Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility
Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living
Utilize therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices
Monitor Progress & Communicate
Observe and report patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
Participate in case conferences and care coordination efforts
Collaborate & Contribute
Work closely with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Participate in team meetings, in-services, and ongoing training
Uphold clinical standards and contribute to quality improvement efforts

What You Bring
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
Current PTA license or certification as required by state law
1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus)
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
