*Job Summary* We are seeking an *experienced,* dedicated and compassionate *Cardiovascular and Thoracic Physician Assistant *to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans. This role *requires at least 2 years of experience with vein-harvesting, pre-and intra-operative care for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Patients. *Must be a collegial team player and have the professionalism and desire to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Experienced applicants only. *Duties* * *Physician Assistant will assist in pre-operative, intra-operative care of Cardiovascular & Thoracic surgery patients.* * Position will include managing complex cases in inpatient and outpatient settings. * Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. *Skills* * *Physician Assistant MUST have experience in endoscopic vein harvesting* * *Must have Physician Assistant experience working in ICU and OR settings.* * *Must be EVH, OR and ICU trained* * *Must have excellent demonstrated patient care follow up skills.* * Must have Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. * Ability to provide care in both inpatient settings and outpatient clinics.
