JOB TITLE: Pre-Press Specialist DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: General Manager FLSA STATUS: Exempt Digital Print Partners is the leading digital print partner to brand marketers and retailers. Our Mission is to provide the perfect solution for organizations currently without access to advanced digital printing capabilities. SUMMARY The Pre-Press Specialist has strong production art skills and is proficient in solving problems involving print quality. JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE Experience as a graphic designer, pre-press operator, or production artist. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Knowledge of Digital printing RIP software such as GMG, Caldera, Fiery, etc. Knowledge of Esko Automation Engine workflows is a plus. May work unusual or extended work hours as required. Must be open to change / revisions as part of the work. Superb communication abilities, attitude, problem solving capabilities, and assertive nature. Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team. Familiarity of the corrugated industry, POP displays, or packaging is a plus. G7 Certification is a plus. Working knowledge of printing processes, dies and corrugated production conversion methods is a plus. Valid Driver's License with DMV evidence of good driving record. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES High School Diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in printing or a related filed is preferred. Proven experience as a digital printing press operator or a similar role demonstrating competence in operating and troubleshooting digital printing equipment. Proficiency in using digital printing software and tools, including ROP Software and color management systems. Solid understanding of printing processes, including file preparation, color calibration, and print finishing techniques. Strong technical skills to identify and resolve printing equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in printed materials. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple print jobs with varying deadlines. Good communication and teamwork sills, strong ability to collaborate with team members such as pre-press technicians and print finishers. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
