Process Engineer | Muskegon, MI

Salary Range: $74,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and improve existing workflows.
• Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis tools.
• Experience with process documentation, P&IDs, and manufacturing process flow.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
