Job DescriptionProduction Assembler

Location: Mayfield, KY
Pay: $17.00 – $19.50 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Production Assembler to support electrical and mechanical assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read instructions and schematics, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to work instructions and schematics
• Use hand tools, tape measures, and basic math to complete assemblies accurately
• Inspect components and sub-assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Safely operate machines and follow standard operating procedures
• Identify wire gauges, color, and understand ampacities during assembly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to read instructions, prints, and basic electrical schematics
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly practices
• Understanding of PLCs, VFDs, circuit breakers, and NEMA enclosure ratings (limited knowledge acceptable)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend work instructions written in English

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Frequent lifting, standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
• Must adhere to all required PPE, including eye, hand, and foot protection
