Production Associate, Little Rock, AR

Starting Pay Rate: $20.18

Shift: 2nd shift, .095 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift! Option to move to 3rd shift on business need. Overtime on business need.

As a Production Associate, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor and operate filling equipment, including but not limited to computers and controls and fill lines.
• Communicate with maintenance and management on issues.
• Lift cases of pails of products and load onto fill line as necessary.
• Produce quality product in a reasonable time frame.
• Perform test to check fill weights and proper labeling and coding.
• Visually observe operations of equipment and physically address problems and/or un-jam machines.
• Perform product changeovers, minor operational troubleshooting and adjustments to equipment on product lines.
• Comply with all safety rules and safety standard practices.
• Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards.
• Create and maintain a teamwork environment and professional communication.
• Maintain and improve production line efficiency standards.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written and verbal English
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 ILBS regularly throughout shift.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and be able to record progress, procedures, steps as completed
• Ability to identify noises in machines to detect unusual or extraordinary sounds.
• Effective interpersonal skills and work in a positive manner in a team atmosphere.
• Basic computer skills and use computer programs (SAP) and analyze data.
• Work in a non- air-conditioned environment with exposure to extreme temperature variations and excessive noise levels, stand for extended period and move over, under, and around production equipment. 
•  Work in a team environment and take ownership of area of responsibility.
• Master and practice safe operating procedures.
• Wear protective gear including hard hat, gloves, ear protection, and other PPE as required.
