Position Summary

Supports daily production operations by helping the team meet production schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure efficient workflow across the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate daily, weekly, and hourly production priorities to team members
  • Monitor work order progress and ensure timely completion
  • Reconcile and close work orders daily
  • Assist with inventory preparation, cycle counts, and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with shipping/receiving regarding back orders, urgent parts, and material shortages
  • Maintain and update operator training records and training matrix
  • Track and report production KPIs
  • Serve as backup production scheduler when needed
  • Assist in developing and updating SOPs
  • Supervise production team members and support employee performance management
  • Partner with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues
  • Audit production paperwork and records for accuracy
  • Report accidents, near misses, and employee concerns to management
  • Communicate shipment accuracy, inventory levels, and recordkeeping updates to leadership
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; additional education preferred
  • 5–8 years of manufacturing experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft 365
  • Email and internet systems
  • ERP systems are preferred
Certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • On-site position with 1st shift schedule: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Overtime required as needed
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
  • Regular lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment and moderate noise levels
