Coverage Needed
- Start Date: 08-01-2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Clinic Schedule: M-F, 9am - 5pm (ages 4-17)
- Call: Beeper call; 30-minute response time
- Weekend on-call coverage for Acute Behavioral Health Stabilization Unit: Friday 5pm - Monday 8am
- Call Ratio: roughly 1 week in 6-7
- Possible Secondary Need: PRN coverage for the Acute Behavioral Health Stabilization Unit (unlikely need)
Clinical Details

- Practice Settings: Outpatient, Telehealth, Inpatient
- Patients Per Shift: 6 (Average daily census is 15 (all units combined
- Rounding Patients: Unassigned Patients
- Trauma level 3
- Primary focus and need to coverage for the Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatric clinic and participating in the weekend on-call coverage for the Acute Behavioral Health Stabilization Unit
- Beds: 2 bed special care unit, 18 bed adult unit, and 18 bed 11-17 year old unit
- Support Staff:
- Clinic: Support staff for clinic of 6 providers (2 psychiatrists, 1 PMHNP and 2 Licensed Therapists) consists of 2 front office staff, 1 RN and 0.5 RN Clinic Manager
- Additional Support: RN's and Psych techs (24 hrs/day), Licensed Clinical Therapists, Recreation Therapist, Security (on call 24hrs/day), and housekeeping & kitchen staff
- Appointments: Visits can be scheduled in 20 increments for 20-120 minutes visits depending on visit type and provider preference with average visits per day of 7-10
- Call: Available by phone 24 hours a day for accepting new admitting patients that have typically been evaluated by a Crisis Interventionist in E/R and are admitting voluntarily with a rare mental health hold/involuntary admission
- Weekend on-call psychiatrist also completes daily rounds on those new admissions as well as any inpatients currently admitted
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible
- Licensed in Montana or IMLC
- Certifications: BLS
- Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days
- Fellowship preferred
