Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Real Estate Analyst to support the acquisitions, asset management, and development teams of a very reputable Real Estate Firm. This role will be responsible for financial modeling, market research, and investment analysis to support strategic real estate decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proficient in financial modeling, and passionate about real estate markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Modeling:

• Build and maintain complex financial models for acquisitions, developments, and asset management (e.g., cash flow projections, IRR, NPV).
• Analyze property-level performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support underwriting of new investment opportunities.

Market Research:

• Conduct in-depth market analysis, including comparable properties, rental trends, and economic indicators.
• Monitor local and national real estate market conditions.
• Prepare market reports and investment summaries.

Due Diligence:

• Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions, including reviewing leases, operating statements, and financial documents.
• Coordinate with legal, accounting, and third-party vendors.

Reporting & Presentations:

• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Track and report on portfolio performance metrics.

Asset Management Support:

• Work with property management teams to analyze operating performance and budgets.
• Assist in forecasting and variance analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in real estate analysis, investment banking, private equity, or finance.
• Strong financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required).
• Understanding of real estate metrics (IRR, cap rates, NOI, cash-on-cash return).
• Experience with Argus, CoStar, or similar real estate tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
