Registered Dental Hygienist - Tuscaloosa, AL
Join a Modern, Patient-Focused Dental Practice

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice in Tuscaloosa, AL. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, although full-time is preferred.

Our office features advanced technology, a strong patient base, a supportive team environment, and systems designed to promote work-life balance and prevent burnout. You'll be joining a team of two dentists and eight dedicated team members who are committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Friday shifts are rotated among hygienists, allowing for additional Fridays off throughout the year.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and education
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and prophylaxis
• Conduct periodontal charting, probing, and therapy
• Take digital radiographs and cone beam CT scans
• Capture digital photography as needed
• Apply sealants and preventive treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Active Dental Hygienist license
• Previous hygiene experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Honest, dependable, and professional
• Friendly, positive attitude
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Dentrix experience is a plus
