Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Massachusetts license is needed for a contract position supporting a 9-year-old student with diabetes care. This role involves providing 1:1 nursing support both at home and school, ensuring the students health and safety throughout the day. Location & Schedule: * Start at the students home in either Waltham or Watertown, MA * Accompany the student on the bus to school located in Lexington, MA * Provide care during the school day * Return on the bus to the students home after school * Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 3:40 PM (times may vary depending on transportation) Responsibilities: * Administer diabetes care and monitor health needs throughout the day * Communicate effectively with school staff and family regarding the students condition * Provide nursing care during transportation and at both home and school settings * Maintain accurate health records and adhere to care plans * Ensure the students safety and well-being at all times Qualifications: * Valid Massachusetts RN license required * Experience in school nursing and managing diabetes care preferred * Ability to maintain professional communication with the student, family, and school staff * Reliability and flexibility to accommodate varying transportation schedules * LPN or CNA licenses will not be considered This opportunity offers a meaningful role in supporting a childs health within educational and home environments.
