Your New Role

• Perform residential HVAC diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and service calls throughout Austin, Texas, and surrounding areas
• Diagnose heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and indoor air quality system issues accurately
• Repair or replace HVAC components including compressors, motors, thermostats, fans, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot airflow concerns, refrigerant leaks, and overall system performance issues
• Configure, calibrate, and program HVAC equipment for optimal operation and energy efficiency
• Present repair and service options to homeowners with professionalism and confidence
• Generate system replacement leads and coordinate opportunities with the sales team
• Identify opportunities for ductwork improvements and indoor air quality solutions
• Maintain accurate service records, customer notes, and job documentation
• Keep service vehicles organized and maintain appropriate truck inventory levels
• Collaborate with installation and sales teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Assist with ductwork sizing, design, and material ordering when needed
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Maintain punctuality for scheduled calls, meetings, and service appointments
• Contribute to team performance through quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and low callback rates
• Continuously develop skills related to HVAC service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer care

• Minimum 1 year of HVAC service experience in residential HVAC, light commercial HVAC, apartment maintenance, or facilities maintenance
• EPA Type II Certification or higher
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Availability to start within two weeks
• Strong customer communication and service recommendation skills
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and generate replacement leads
• Ability to work extended hours as needed, with service calls running as late as 9:30 PM
• Experience with Bryant, Mitsubishi, or similar HVAC systems preferred
• Experience configuring and programming HVAC equipment preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, refrigeration systems, airflow diagnostics, and residential service best practices
