Hugs Foster Family Agency
is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals and families to become Resource Parents (Foster Parents) for children in foster care.
Since 1997, our agency has been committed to helping vulnerable children find safe, stable, and loving homes. Many of the children we serve are medically fragile or have specialized emotional and developmental needs. We believe children come first above all else, and we are looking for caring families who share that mission.
What Does a Resource Parent Do?
Resource Parents provide:
* A safe, supportive, and nurturing home environment
* Daily care and supervision for children and youth
* Emotional support, guidance, and encouragement
* Transportation to appointments, school, and family visits
* Partnership with social workers, therapists, and support teams
* Stability and compassion during a critical time in a child’s life
Qualifications
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Have a stable residence
* Pass background and Live Scan clearance
* Complete agency training (PRIDE training provided)
* Have the ability to provide a safe and caring environment
* Married individuals, single adults, and diverse family structures are encouraged to apply
