Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: * Under the general direction of the Director/Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician. Duties may include: * Medical gas administration, aerosol therapy * Obtaining and analyzing blood specimens * Performing patient testing * Operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment. * Additional responsibilities include completing documentation in patient records, cleaning equipment and maintaining safety and infection control practices. What qualifications you will need: * Currently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program. Maintains a GPA of 2.0 or greater. * Current BLS certification, * Current Kansas Student License (or within60 days of hire) from the KBHA. * Clinical experience through their Clinical Rotations, * Strong interpersonal skills.
