As a key member of our front-of-house team, the Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Chef-Partners, this role is responsible for managing front-of-house staff, implementing restaurant policies, and training employees to maximize revenue through increased sales.
A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Staff Development
- Train staff on Japanese culinary techniques, including cooking methods and menu offerings.
- Ensure staff is knowledgeable about menu items and able to make recommendations to guests.
Purchasing and Inventory Management
- Oversee monthly inventory numbers for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Develop and present accurate budget forecasts to senior management.
Service Excellence
- Supervise staff to meet high service standards, ensuring Forbes Travel Guide expectations are met.
- Interact with guests, provide personalized recommendations, and assist the Sommelier as needed.
