Sales Manager – Manufacturing & Industrial Supplies | Plastics Industry | Multiple U.S. Regions
Location: NE, South, SW, or West (Flexible; Travel Required) Travel: 60%+
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in industrial sales and the plastics industry. You will drive sales growth, manage a high-performing sales team, and achieve revenue targets across your assigned territories. This role involves planning sales strategies, monitoring market trends, coordinating with internal teams, and building lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual sales and revenue plans based on market analysis
Set regional and product sales targets; monitor performance and prepare reports
Manage, train, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and team goals
Track market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity
Adjust pricing and promotions to stay competitive and profitable
Coordinate with marketing, production, and service teams for lead generation and customer support
Prepare sales quotations, proforma invoices, and product documentation
Promote company products and develop agents/representatives in assigned regions
Travel extensively (60%+) to support customer relationships and territory growth
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree (Commerce, BBA, MBA, Polytechnic, International Trade, Chemical/Plastic Machinery)
Minimum 2+ years of outbound sales experience in manufacturing, industrial supplies, or plastics
Strong knowledge of plastics machinery and industrial sales processes
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
Willingness to travel across NE, South, SW, and West regions
