Job Description

Help Wanted: Saltwater Aquarium Specialist

We are seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Saltwater Aquarium Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marine life and experienced in maintaining healthy, thriving saltwater aquarium systems.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and service saltwater aquariums
• Monitor water quality, including salinity, pH, and nutrient levels
• Perform routine cleaning, water changes, and equipment maintenance
• Diagnose and address fish health and coral care issues
• Advise on livestock compatibility and tank optimization
• Assist customers/clients with aquarium-related questions and solutions

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with saltwater aquariums (reef systems preferred)
• Strong understanding of marine biology basics and water chemistry
• Ability to troubleshoot aquarium systems and equipment
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to animal health and safety
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and transport aquarium equipment as needed

Preferred:

• Experience with coral propagation or reef tank management
• Familiarity with common aquarium equipment (protein skimmers, RO/DI systems, lighting setups)
