Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time school social worker to support K-12 students, primarily middle and high school aged, at a residential facility serving male youth impacted by sexual violence. This position requires onsite presence in Clinton Township, MI, focusing on providing compassionate and expert social work services in a structured educational environment. Responsibilities include: * Delivering individual and group counseling to address trauma and behavioral needs. * Collaborating with educational staff and residential personnel to develop and implement treatment plans. * Advocating for student welfare and connecting families with community resources. * Maintaining accurate case documentation and participating in supervisory sessions. * Ensuring compliance with state licensing and facility regulations. Preferred qualifications: * Licensed Social Worker in Michigan with a valid MI license (license verification required). * Experience working with male youth in residential or therapeutic educational settings. * Familiarity with trauma-informed care, especially relating to victims and offenders of sexual violence. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work onsite full-time, with no virtual work arrangements for this caseload. * Male or female candidates with similar experience preferred to meet client needs.
