JOB SUMMARY

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to accelerate the delivery of both internal tools and customer-facing products. In this role, you will design, build, and operate backend services with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and developer experience. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, taking ownership of critical systems while shaping technical standards and ensuring operational excellence. Our stack includes TypeScript, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of backend service development experience, with 3+ years working in TypeScript/Node.js
• Fluency with relational databases and SQL
• Proven ability to ship production systems with high uptime and minimal maintenance burden
• Strong commitment to clean code principles and automated testing
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating in remote, asynchronous teams
• Deep understanding of API design, versioning, documentation, and modern authentication patterns
• Remote - Based in EST or CST timezone
• Wallet infrastructure experience prefrred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
• Familiarity with performance profiling, latency reduction, and service-level adherence
• Background in designing and operating event-driven architectures
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Experience integrating or interacting with blockchain node software (e.g., geth, Solana validators)
• Passion for building internal tools that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency
