BREC, a Stratus Team company, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our office in Wilkesboro, NC, who specializes in providing solutions for civil and environmental projects in multiple markets.

Job Duties

• Manage project design including technical quality, people, process, cost, and schedule.
• Collaborate with engineering/architecture disciplines on complex projects.
• Supervise and/or Prepare design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Detailed design engineering and QA/QC checks.
• Prepare studies and reports.
• Site investigations and construction administration.
• Identify and manage client deliverables and expectations.
• Permitting and coordination with federal, state, and local municipalities.
• Communicate with a high level of professionalism with clients, sub-consultants, and office staff.

Required Qualifications

• 8-15 years of engineering consulting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• PE required
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraflow or equivalent hydrology software.
• Project experience with: Residential and commercial development, site layout, grading and drainage, hydraulics, hydrology, and stormwater/water quality; Water and sewer, and permitting.
