WPPI Energy is a not-for-profit, regional power company serving 51 locally owned electric utilities. Key Responsibilities:
• Represent WPPI Energy in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc (MISO) stakeholder process, tracking transmission related issues, coordinating internal position, and advocating WPPI’s interest in regional forums.
• Stay current on and ensure compliance with MISO and other applicable regional electricity market and transmission service requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate MISO transmission planning activities, including projects recommended for Board approval, with a focus on cost allocation impacts to WPPI and opportunities for mitigation or enhancement.
• Participate in key MISO committees and working groups.
