Fully remote, work across EST/CST or PST hours with some flexibility required.
Hi! We're LinkGraph, an SEO software company (and full-service digital agency) focused on engineering products and services that help websites improve their performance on Google. We are a rapidly growing organization with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to leading Silicon Valley tech startups, and we're looking to bring on an amazing Head of AI Search to help us propel our growth.
If you're smart, ambitious, and passionate about working for a tech company, we want to hear from you!
Why This Role Matters
LinkGraph is replacing manual content implementation — entirely. You'll build the automated systems that publish AI-generated content across 100+ client websites with zero errors, freeing our team from repetitive uploads so they can focus on strategy.
Your first project is an enterprise client account that will shape LinkGraph's next chapter. You'll work directly with the Director of Search, and the systems you build will become case studies that open doors to more enterprise work. This role directly replaces work that currently takes three full-time editors — the impact is immediate and measurable.
What You'll Do
Automation Development (50%)
- Design and build automated content upload systems across CMS platforms including WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and custom setups
- Develop and maintain scripts and API integrations that keep the AI-generated content pipeline running smoothly, using tools like Claude Code
- Build QA processes that guarantee clean, error-free implementation on every client site
Technical Quality Assurance (30%)
- Own quality end-to-end — zero tolerance for errors on client sites
- Ensure published content meets UX and design standards
- Monitor automated systems, troubleshoot issues proactively, and build failsafes before problems reach clients
Project Coordination (20%)
- Sync with the content and fulfillment teams to keep workflows tight
- Document processes, create training materials, and track automation efficiency metrics
- Drive toward full content automation — this is the mission, not a side goal
What You Bring
Required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with CMS platforms at a technical level (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or similar)
- Proven experience with AI coding tools — Claude Code specifically is a strong plus
- Strong scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Hands-on experience with API integrations and automation tools (n8n, Make.com, webhooks, or equivalent)
- Solid, current knowledge of SEO: on-page, off-page, and technical
- Real, shipped experience using AI in production SEO or content workflows — not just awareness of the tools
- Sharp attention to detail — you catch issues before they reach clients
Nice to Have
- Experience with QA or testing methodologies
- Familiarity with AI content tools (ElevenLabs, MidJourney, or similar pipelines)
- Background in process documentation or training
The Team & Stack
You'll report to the Director of Search and collaborate daily with the content and fulfillment teams. The tools in play include Claude Code, (add your current internal tools/stack here), and the CMS platforms listed above. We move fast and expect systems, not workarounds
Salary & Benefits- $17.32 – $28.86 per hour.
- 15 Days Paid Time Off + Christmas Day + New Year's Day paid off.
Our Recruitment Process- Step 1: Initial screening call with our recruitment team
- Step 2: Assessment to showcase your skills
- Step 3: Final interview with our Hiring Manager
- Step 4: Offer extended
