HYBRID HOST/SERVER POSITION 

AGENCY OF RECORD IS A LIVELY COCKTAIL BAR LOOKING FOR A OUTGOING AND PROFESSIONAL SERVER TO FILL OUR HYBRID HOST/SERVER POSITION.
This is a unique opportunity to our professional team! 
Although we are looking for mainly for host shifts;
The host and server share the same job requirements and similar responsibilities on the floor. The host is essentially a backup server that is primarily responsible for greeting and seating guests, with the pay being a higher hourly, while having a smaller tip share. 

Please only apply if you meet all of these standards.
1 full year of high volume fine dining or cocktail bar experience is required for this role.
Friday and Saturday availability, 1 weekday availability 3-4 shifts total (2-3 host shifts, 1 server)


Server
Job requirements:
  • Fundamental cocktail and spirit knowledge 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high volume atmosphere
  • Fundamental understanding of guest relations
  • Take and enter orders correctly and communicate flow with management and chefs
  • Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 35 lbs).
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time(10+hrs) over multiple floors.
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.
  • Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
  • Must be of legal age according to NY State regulations to serve alcohol (18 years).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Food safety knowledge
