Position Overview The Solar Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and excellent troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Install and configure solar photovoltaic (PV) systems according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing solar systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar PV systems and implement appropriate repairs.
Conduct electrical testing to ensure systems meet safety and performance standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of their solar systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety protocols during all work activities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in electrical systems or renewable energy preferred.
Proven experience in repairing and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
