This is a role for someone who is hungry, deeply passionate about cooking, and committed to pushing themselves and the team every day. The ideal candidate is a very strong cook with 8–10 years of professional kitchen experience and a solid foundation in classic technique. Experience as a CDC or in a similar leadership role is a plus, but not required.
We’re looking for someone with old-school training and discipline, but a modern attitude, someone who takes pride in the craft, works hard, and shows up ready to perform.
We are looking for a strong Sous Chef to help lead and inspire our kitchen staff. This role includes hiring, training, and scheduling kitchen staff, collaborating with restaurant management on daily operations and special events, and managing the kitchen by optimizing staff productivity and product utilization while stepping in wherever needed to support the team.
To ensure success, you should have excellent leadership skills with experience managing staff in a high-pressure environment. Top candidates are creative individuals with a passion for great food and excellent service, with the ability to lead and inspire our kitchen staff through teaching, developing, motivating, and generating ideas that continually improve the kitchen and the restaurant as a whole.
This position requires someone who is:

• Solution-oriented and proactive rather than reactive
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and longer shifts when needed

We want someone who comes to work with energy and a positive attitude, takes pride in the work, and leaves service knowing they gave it everything they had.
The right person will eventually run services independently and help lead the kitchen, allowing the chef team to continue building a strong, consistent operation.
