Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Division of General Surgery.

Description

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established hospital based General Surgery group of 11 Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Responsibilities will include mostly hospital, some outpatient clinic/surgery and call coverage
• Previous surgical or inpatient hospital experience is essential
• Salary Range: $127,803 - $144,035 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000

Job Qualifications

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required
