Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Endorses the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesar's Entertainment Inc.
- Operates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to monitor casino activities and prepares reports and logs.
- Operates software to save and preserve video coverage.
- Presents evaluations of any observed illegal activity to the proper departments and makes necessary recommendations.
- Make recommendations and enforce state and federal regulations.
- Will communicate with security and other departments using the phone and radios.
- Will follow policies to ensure safety and asset protection.
- Adheres to all department, company, and State regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performs additional duties as assigned. Consistently demonstrates superior communication skills.
- Maintains an upbeat, positive attitude, a friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy, and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
- Utilizes smiles, frequent eye contact, and a friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness.
- Well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs, and any other relevant valuable guest information.
- Anticipates issues that may arise and works to quickly resolve them.
- Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.
- Promotes Caesar's and always projects Caesar's in a positive light to guests.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesar's and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
- Will be responsible for performing Gaming Evaluations and investigations.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerous CCTV screens.
- Must be able to work and maneuver in close quarters.
- Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
- Must be able to see and also remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate the following equipment: Monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
- Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
- Must be able to work overtime or change shifts on short notice.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Some college preferred.
- Satisfactorily completes the 90-day surveillance training program.
- Prior experience in a security, casino, or surveillance-related field is preferred.
- Must have the ability to operate a CCTV system.
- Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to change the schedule at short notice.
- Will abide by all the Virginia Lottery Regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Virginia Lottery.
- Must have a good working knowledge of how to evaluate table games, cage, and other gaming procedures.
- Must be able to evaluate for advantage play.
