We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Title Processor to join our dedicated team.
Job Summary:
The Title Processor plays a critical role in managing the administrative and clerical tasks required to process real estate transactions. This individual ensures all necessary documents are accurate, complete, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the title or real estate industry, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process title orders from receipt through closing.
Examine public records, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and plats/maps, to determine legal condition of property title.
Coordinate with title examiners, underwriters, lenders, realtors, and other parties to clear title issues.
Prepare title commitments, preliminary reports, and final policies.
Order and track payoffs, surveys, inspections, and other necessary documents.
Ensure accuracy of legal descriptions and ownership information.
Monitor and update the status of files, maintaining accurate records in the system.
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with all parties involved in the transaction.
Assist with preparing closing packages and funding documents as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in title processing, real estate, or a related field.
Familiarity with title insurance, escrow procedures, and real estate documents.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, Qualia, etc.).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
