We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Localization Program Manager to drive the planning, execution, and oversight of localization initiatives across our portfolio of digital solutions. This role requires close collaboration with general managers, product managers, engineering teams, and regional leaders to deliver localized solutions that meet the expectations of global customers—on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Assess the existing language coverage and localization maturity of each digital solution within the organization. 

• Identify perceived quality issues in localized versions and estimate the effort required to resolve them. 

• Collaborate with general managers, product managers, and regional sales leaders to define comprehensive localization roadmaps with clear milestones. 

• Partner with business and product leadership to develop annual localization budgets aligned to strategic roadmaps. 

• Work closely with engineering teams and localization execution teams to streamline the handoff and integration of localized content. 

• Secure the commitment of regional leaders to nominate and support internal subject matter experts (SMEs) for content review cycles. 

• Continuously prioritize localization efforts based on budget constraints and time-sensitive market opportunities. 

• Identify and escalate budgetary or resource-related risks to leadership, accompanied by actionable recommendations. 

• Serve as the internal champion and trusted advisor for the localization needs of each digital solution business unit. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

• 8+ years of experience in localization and/or translations in multiple languages 

• Program management certifications such as PgMP, PMP, or equivalent.  

• Agile training or relevant experience (e.g., SAFe, CSM) 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present strategic information to executives and diverse audiences. 

• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment. 

• Experience implementing process improvement initiatives and aligning teams to industry-standard best practices. 

• Proficiency with relevant tools such as Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), PowerBi/Tableau, Product Board/Aha, TMS, CAT tools.  

• Demonstrated success in managing enterprise-level programs, including product and service launches. 

• Strong collaboration, influencing, and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 

• Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data and inform decision-making. 

• Demonstrated ability to manage change and implement process improvements effectively. 

EDUCATION 

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Linguistics preferred.
