As a TruckPro Transmission / Differential Rebuilder, you are joining a thriving Rebuild Shop and will perform bench repairs on customer transmission and differential units as well as PTOs and other gear components. You will also grind flywheels and bend u-joints according to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing bench repairs on customer transmission and differential units
• Repairing PTOs and other gear components
• Grinding flywheels and bending u-joints according to customer specifications.
• Disassembling unit components; wash parts, inspect parts, prep parts and discard all damaged parts
• Preparing a list of required replacement parts on work orders
• Paint and clean new parts
• Reassemble and assign serial number to unit
• Submit work order for invoicing
• Perform basic welding functions
• Inform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes
• Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• Mechanic experience, automotive or commercial vehicle preferred
• Automotive, Light-Duty, or Heavy-Duty Repair experience
• Your own set of basic hand tools required for the job, or willingness to purchase tools as needed
• Ability to safely lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods
• Initiative to address challenges and seek solutions
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• Customer service orientation
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
