American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lima, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 03/10/2026 * Duration: 13 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, nights * Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring strong cardiac medication and telemetry skills on night shifts. Responsibilities * Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit * 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM * Assignment requires working every other weekend * Floating to all units within skill level may be required * No on-call responsibilities * Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for assigned patients * May assist in supervising and teaching non-RN staff including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries * No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted for this assignment Requirements * Active OH or compact RN license required and must be verified on Nursys * Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required * Competency with cardiac medications including titration and application * Must be skilled in telemetry and able to interpret heart rhythms * Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient status, with strong critical thinking skills * Knowledge of stroke signs and symptoms required * Strong communication skills required * Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required * Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Benefits * High Pay and Bonuses * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options * 401(k) Plan * Weekly Payroll Deposit * Free Online CEUs * Generous Housing Allowance * Travel and Licensure Reimbursements * Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy * Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-670229.
