Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Deliver expert surgical nursing care in an operating room setting as a Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative services. This role involves managing patients through all surgical phasespreoperative, intraoperative, and postoperativewithin a dynamic facility in Idalia, CO. This travel nursing opportunity offers exposure to a diverse caseload and advanced surgical technologies. Key Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgeries. * Assist with robotic-assisted surgeries utilizing Da Vinci and Mako systems. * Manage patient care in a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics (excluding spine), ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, general surgery (appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel procedures, hernia repair), cesarean sections, ENT (tonsillectomies), colonoscopy, and EGD procedures. * Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure safety and quality outcomes. * Fulfill call duties one evening per week (5pm to 6am) and approximately one weekend per month, providing 24-hour on-call support. Qualifications and Desired Experience: * Current RN license. * Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS is mandatory. * Prior experience in an operating room setting with a focus on perioperative nursing. * Proficiency in robotic surgery equipment (Da Vinci and Mako) preferred. * Ability to work flexible shifts from 6:00 am to 5:30 pm.
