Job DescriptionNursery Operations Lead (Hands-On Position – New 5–15 Acre Nursery Division)

Perma-Culture, Inc. – Dade City, FL
Full-Time | ~45 hrs/week | Outdoor Work

About the Job

Perma-Culture is starting a brand-new 5-acre nursery division, with plans to grow it to 15 acres. We need someone who isn’t afraid of hard work, can operate on their own, and wants to help build this division from the ground up. As things grow, this person will eventually lead a small crew.

Daily Work Includes

• Setting posts, cable runs, weed mats, and tree rows
• Installing and maintaining nursery irrigation
• Moving and reorganizing nursery stock
• Building new weed mat areas and keeping the nursery clean and organized
• Checking plant and tree health and making sure they have what they need
• Working outdoors all day in the Florida heat
• Showing up every day, on time, ready to work

What We Need

• Someone who can get the job done with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Experience in landscaping, nursery work, irrigation, or similar outdoor trades (preferred but not required)
• Basic knowledge of plants and trees, or willing to learn quickly
• Ability to safely handle and move various sizes in plants from 1 - gal along with trees from 15 – 65 gallon trees
• Equipment experience (skid steer, tractor, etc.) is a big plus
• Must be able to work 45+ hours a week
