The OpportunityThe Trading Solutions Analyst (Principal) will administer various support aspects for the MMLIS Trade Desk. The role requires a problem-solver who thrives on understanding the “why” behind situations and brings exceptional time management skills paired with a strong sense of ownership. The position demands a solid background in electronic trading, outstanding technical expertise, and a proven track record in supporting trading operations.

The Impact:
Reporting to the Director of Trade Execution Services, the Trading Solutions Analyst (Principal) will support the Trade Desk operation, including the following:
- work with the Director of Execution Services to develop, implement, and coordinate trading technologies to build the trading platform for growth
- oversee the implementation, access to, and maintenance of trading platforms and related technology systems
- collaborate with technology teams to address system issues and enhancements that improve trade operations efficiency
- data and metrics analysis
- batch trade processing
- field liaison for complex/escalated cases
- drive collaboration with traders and back-office teams to resolve trade-related issues
- work with management, Product, and Compliance in developing new rules in the Wealthscape Compliance & Controls Rules Engine to support ongoing business and regulatory needs
- conduct quarterly review meetings consisting of C&C related activity
- Trade Desk call review
- backup coverage for phone lines to meet demand
The Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working directly in a trading environment
- 2+ years experience in electronic trading
- 2+ years of experience using Advanced Microsoft Excel/VBA Skills
- Series 7 at time of application
- Series 63 at time of application or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Series 24 at time of application or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Bachelors degree
