General Laborer duties may include cleaning job areas, loading and assembly of products as well as using a variety of tools, power tools, grinders and forklifts. Job Responsibilities: * Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/supervisor in a timely manner * Dissemble steel pieces from stamped or laser cut sheets and sort according to order * Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer * Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/department lead in a timely manner * Execute daily work instructions received form shop manager/department lead in a timely manner * Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team * Manual dexterity to use handheld tools and shop machines * Dissemble steel pieces from stamped or laser cut sheets and sort according to order * Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt and set out/put away tools * Safely operate a forklift handle materials and complete work Qualifications: * Great work ethic * Detail oriented and self-motivated * Experience in general labor/manufacturing and/or metal fabrication * Ability to understand blueprints documents * Must be able to understand and read written instructions and/or directions in work related documents * Manual dexterity to use handheld tools and shop machines * Stamina to remain on feet completing various tasks * Ability to handle physical workload * Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment, preferred knowledge of JobBOSS * Forklift operation * PEMM operation and set up experience Physical Requirements: Level of Physical Demand Occasional Frequent Consistent Physical Activity 0-33% of the time 34-66% of the time 67-100% of the time Sitting X Standing X Walking x Lifting 1-50lb 51-100lb Carrying 1-25lb Pushing 1-50lb Twisting X Reaching X Stooping X Crouching X Manipulating (Fine Motor Skills) X Extreme Temps X Exposure to Cleaning Supplies X
