In this position, you will perform fluoroscopy and image acquisition (cine) procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician orders, utilizing sound judgment in exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care. Through your commitment to excellence, you will deliver professional, expert care to the patients we serve.

Angiography, Cardiovascular, and Electrophysiology Technologists at Legacy provide the highest quality care using advanced technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions in our Cardiovascular (Cath Lab) and Hybrid Labs across Legacy sites.

Below are the respective 2026 pay ranges for the progressive experience levels:

  • Tech Level I : $46.37 min. to $66.31 max.
  • Tech Level II

    $48.69 min. to $69.65 max.

  • Tech Level III

    $51.13 min. to $73.12 max.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs primary role, fluoroscopy and acquisition (cine), during procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment.
  • Performs secondary and tertiary roles (scrub assistant, monitoring) during procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory in accordance with physician orders.
  • Act as preceptor for Angiography Technologist I and II orientees.
  • Give a presentation or participate in a yearly education or quality improvement project in the Catheterization Laboratory.
Qualifications: Education:
  • Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
Experience:
  • Level I

    One-year previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization preferred.
  • Level II

    1-year of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization, ACLS, BLS, applicable state LRT and ARRT-R required. You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment and demonstrate knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory.
  • Level III

    2-years previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization is required. You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Salmon Creek Cath Lab x-ray table equipment and demonstrate knowledge of Salmon Creek Cath Lab product inventory.

Licensure:

  • Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT) required.
  • Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
  • BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required - Levels II and III
  • ACLS required for Level I within six months of hire.
  • Advanced certification (RCIS, CI, VI) preferred - Level III
