Job Summary

Position for a field staff person to work with LDS dairy customers.

Perform routine analysis of milking equipment:

• Wash/CIP setup and analysis/performance/testing
• Milking systems setup and performance testing

Perform routine scheduled maintenance required on the milking equipment.

Delivering the right products to meet the customers needs.

• Pipeline wash sanitation products
• Udder hygiene products such as teat dips and liners

Ability to make appropriate recommendations on equipment and product choices to assist our customers in harvesting the highest quality product.

Qualifications and Skills

Position requires the following skills:

• Ability to read, comprehend and write in English.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs in weight.

Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time.

• Able to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions
• CDL with hazmat endorsement is a plus, or be able to obtain one
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Able to take direction and work within a team environment
• Comfort working remotely with limited supervisory interaction.

Helpful Skills:

• Bilingual: English and Spanish
• Desire to learn
• Computer and software knowledge

Experience not required, will train the right individual.

Paid technical training will be provided to qualified candidates.

Agricultural or other technical experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
