*Job Summary* We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pulm/CC Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in pulmonary and critical care medicine, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex patient cases within hospital and intensive care settings. This role involves providing advanced clinical assessments, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care. The provider will utilize their expertise in EMR systems, acute care procedures, and clinical research to enhance patient outcomes across diverse medical environments. *Duties* * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate treatment strategies. * Manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions utilizing ventilator management, airway management techniques, and oxygen therapy protocols. * Administer injections, perform suturing, and execute aseptic techniques to support procedural interventions. * Utilize EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient data, medical records, and billing codes including CPT and ICD-10 coding standards. * Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts aimed at advancing pulmonary and critical care practices. * Provide triage services in emergency or urgent care settings to prioritize patient needs effectively. * Support hospital operations by assisting with discharge planning, hospice & palliative medicine consultations, and post-acute care coordination. * Engage in telehealth consultations to extend specialized pulmonary services remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance. *Experience* * Proven clinical experience in hospital medicine with a focus on pulmonary or critical care environments such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers. * Demonstrated proficiency in managing ventilators, neonatal ventilator support, cardiac catheterization procedures, and infectious disease care protocols. * Experience administering injections, performing physical examinations, and utilizing diagnostic tools including medical imaging and radiation therapy. * Familiarity with EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for comprehensive data management and medical record keeping. * Background in clinical trials or research projects related to pulmonology or critical care medicine is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding standards, and documentation requirements for hospital billing. * Prior experience working within hospital settings such as emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, or rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
