Pay Range: $32.58 - $48.87 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join the Cath Lab. Ideal candidates will assist the physician with the performance of invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro and electrophysiology procedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, and interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician. Position requires the operation of equipment that produces ionizing radiation. Position Specifics: o Imaging Focus: Cath Lab o Core Function: Imaging o Facility: St. John's Hospital o Location: Springfield, IL o Sign On: $41,000 o Compensation aligned with your experience Education Qualifications * Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required. Experience Qualifications * Experience in radiology/diagnostic imaging is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations * Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required. * Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. * Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
