About Us:
We are a vibrant, high-volume Texas BBQ & Mexican restaurant known for bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and a lively dining experience. We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to lead our back-of-house operations, drive culinary innovation, and maintain top-notch kitchen performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and work with the team on all kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and staff supervision
Lead, train, and mentor a diverse BOH team in a high-volume setting
Maintain food and labor cost targets
Collaborate with ownership/management on menu development and seasonal specials
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Manage vendor relationships and inventory to ensure consistent supply and quality
Uphold a strong kitchen culture centered on accountability, respect, and teamwork
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Works the line, expedites and coordinates prep.
In-depth knowledge of Mexican & Texan cuisines ingredients, and techniques (preferred)
Proven ability to manage costs and hit performance targets
ServSafe or equivalent certification (required)
Passion for food, people, and creating memorable guest experiences
