Title: Cloud Engineer - Azure Employment Type: 3month Contract. Compensation: 65/hr Location: Company is Headquartered in Nashville, TN. Role is remote. Reason for Opening: Extra bandwidth is needed for a massive Data/AI/Cloud initiative.
Must Have Experience: Minimum 5 years experience with the following:
- Azure (vNets, VMs, Storage, Key Vaults, NSGs)
- Databrick
- DevOps (VS Code, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD)
- IaC (Terraform - 95% of the work, Python, Powershell, Bash)
This role provides leadership and subject matter expertise in cloud services, DevOps/DevSecOps, and related technologies, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities include driving automation through Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and cloud provisioning while establishing operational standards, security best practices, and reference architectures. The position partners with architects, developers, and security teams to support digital transformation, system design, and continuous improvement of cloud operations. Additionally, it offers guidance to junior staff, manages routine cloud maintenance, and contributes to research, evaluation, and implementation of new enterprise technologies.
