Culinary Director — With Others | Williamsburg, Brooklyn
With Others is a neighborhood wine bar in Williamsburg — the kind of place where the food is as considered as the wine list, and nobody takes themselves too seriously. We're looking for a Culinary Director to own our kitchen program and grow with us.
We have a clear identity: European bistro-leaning, seasonal, unfussy, built to drink well. What we need now is the right person to lead it — someone who brings as much thinking to the business of food as they do to what's on the plate. Who cares about offering an excellent food program to pair with our award winning wine program.
What you'll own
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be on the line and working directly with the owner.
Who you are
You've led a kitchen before — maybe as a CDC or sous — and you're ready for a role where you're not just executing someone else's vision. You think about food programs holistically: what's on the menu, how it sells, how it pairs, how it evolves. You're energized by collaboration, not territorial about it. Guest chefs and pop-ups sound exciting to you.
You're also still a cook. You don't mind breaking down fish, running a station on a busy Friday.
A genuine curiosity about wine matters here. We're a wine bar, and the food program exists in relationship to that.
