Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Outpatient Clinic Role
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Competitive salary + benefits
We’re seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our new ApexMed Primary Care Shavano clinic and help us build a patient-first, wellness-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
• Perform health assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
Requirements:
• Current Texas license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• At least 1 year of experience in a primary care setting preferred
• EMR proficiency and strong patient communication skills
• Team-oriented and patient-centered approach
