Job Description

Banesco USA is seeking an Guaranty Preservation Specialist/SBA Special Assets Admin for our SBA Special Assets Business Unit.

Primary Job Duties

• Deals with chronic delinquent accounts and new accounts, typically at least 60 days past due, but as warranted by other special situations, such as the sale of a business or death of a loan guarantor and bankruptcies.
• Communicates directly with the Special Assets Officer.
• Works with adjacent partner areas such as portfolio management and loan operations to understand internal process that may affect resolutions and/or to effectuate resolution on bank books.
• Is cognizant of timely completion of requirements for government guaranteed loans, primarily SBA lending.
• Assists in ordering site inspections and sending SBA required letters to borrower.
• Completes SBA packages and send to the servicing center by deadline.
• Create folders and gather documents.
• Update department reports as needed.
• Handle vendor invoices.
• Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
• Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• High level of diplomacy and confidentiality for dealing with sensitive borrower situations including in-depth dialogue, conversations, and explanations with customers, vendors, etc. can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature.
