THE ROLE

We are seeking a Host / Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team.

This role is an integral part of delivering a polished, welcoming, and high-touch guest experience, as the Host / Hostess serves as the first point of contact for restaurant guests. With confidence, warmth, and precision, you will set the tone for the dining experience while maintaining complete control of the host stand and guest flow.

The Host / Hostess is responsible for managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, coordinating wait lists, and accommodating special requests while ensuring every guest feels anticipated, valued, and prepared for an exceptional dining experience.

WHAT YOU WILL ROCK

In this role, you will lead the execution of Host Operations with a focus on organization, service flow, and guest satisfaction.

You will manage reservations and cancellations, maintain accurate guest lists, and oversee station seating and table assignments to ensure a smooth, intentional dining experience. You will greet every guest with a genuine smile, escort them to their assigned table, present menus, and ensure guests feel that their table was specifically prepared for them.

You will maintain full ownership of the host stand, ensuring menus, wine lists, and materials are clean, accurate, organized, and stocked for each meal period. You will monitor restaurant flow, update table statuses, and coordinate closely with servers, bussers, and management to maintain proper sequence of service.

With strong attention to detail, you will assist guests with special needs, accommodate special requests whenever possible, answer restaurant phones, and process payments in accordance with POS and cash handling procedures. You will remain knowledgeable of menu items, ingredients, allergens, wine offerings, property amenities, and in-house events to confidently assist guests.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the restaurant while participating in Sound Check meetings, team communication, and ongoing training initiatives. You will promote property outlets, support special events, and actively contribute to a collaborative, energized team culture.

All responsibilities are executed with a focus on anticipation, professionalism, consistency, and elevated Hard Rock service standards.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• This role is an hourly, non-exempt position
