We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Pastry Assistant to support our pastry team in daily production. In this role, you will assist with measuring ingredients, prepping components, and scaling recipes under the direction of our Head Pastry Chef. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a passion for baking, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Mise en Place & Prep: Measure, weigh, and organize raw ingredients for daily production. Prepare fillings, creams, glazes, and dough components.
• Baking & Production: Assist with scaling, mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking a variety of pastries (e.g., croissants, cookies, tarts, and cakes).
• Finishing & Decoration: Help glaze, frost, and portion finished baked goods to ensure uniform visual appeal and high quality.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, mixing bowls, and large equipment. Adhere strictly to local food safety and health guidelines.
