Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Federal Way, WA, serving students from TK through 5th grade. This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to support pediatric speech and language development in a school setting, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and individualized therapy to students in grades TK-5. * Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student communication goals. * Maintain accurate documentation and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. * Implement evidence-based intervention strategies to address speech, language, and communication disorders. * Support student progress monitoring and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Desired Qualifications: * Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or ability to obtain certification. * Experience working as an SLP or SLPA in school or pediatric healthcare settings. * Familiarity with school-based speech-language therapy practices. * Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred. * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Location: Federal Way, WA Position Type: Full-time contract Student Grades: Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade Start Date: ASAP End Date: End of School Year (EOSY) This position offers the chance to contribute to student success in a dynamic school environment while gaining valuable experience in pediatric speech therapy.
